Great fun last Saturday at U8s in Bellefield. Lovely, fresh weather and the shop open for teas and coffees.

Lots of great help on hand for the big crowd of fun loving kids and all had a ball. Back again next Saturday, 10:30am.

There was wins all around this evening for the ladies footballers with the minors getting the win over Ballygarrett; the final score was 2:10 to 1:7.

The U12's got their first championship game off to a flying start also with a great win over the Volunteers; final score 7-3 to 2-1

Well done to all - both games had a minute's silence.

U16 footballers get the season underway with a minutes silence before coming out on the good side of 5-10 to 4-7 against a very good Rathgarogue-Cushinstown.

The under 14's won two and drew one of their group games in the Feile football but did not advance on scoring differences.

Very unlucky but very well done to them - they were very strong performances.

Rapparees 5-6 Shamrocks 1-15

The minor hurlers dug out a win against the Shamrocks in the second round of the championship last Sunday. It took us a long time to get going and the Rockies went into an early lead, scoring an early goal and latching on a few well taken points.

Model County Draw tickets are now available. We are asking all members and supporters to make a big effort to sell a ticket this year please.
